Edgar Cayce was born in 1877 in Hopkinsville, Kentucky and died in 1945 in Virginia Beach, Virginia. He possessed an ability to put himself into a self-induced sleep state during which he placed his mind in contact with all time and space and gave psychic "readings" on many topics.
