Evans, Harold Websites

Sir Harold Matthew Evans (born 28 June 1928) is a British-born journalist and writer. Editor of The Sunday Times from 1967 to 1981 and The Times from 1981-82. In 1984, Evans moved to the United States, where he taught at Duke University. Founding editor of Conde Nast Traveler in 1986. President and publisher of Random House trade group from 1990 to 1997. His best known work is The American Century (1998), its sequel is They Made America (2004). Knighted for services to journalism in 2004.- Category ID : 439479
