Tremellales are an order of basidiomycotic fungi. Most are jelly fungi, often with extensive convoluted surfaces. Members of the genus Tremella are mostly parasitic on wood decay fungi such as Stereum or Aleurodiscus. They can be distinguished from other jelly fungi by their cruciate-septate basidia (vertically septate, parallel to their direction of growth).- Category ID : 419031
