Terry Allen Winograd (24 February 1946) is a computer scientist. He has worked in many fields. His best known, even famous, work was in philosophy of mind, and artificial intelligence, especially natural language processing, via the program SHRDLU, in 1968-70. In the early 1980s, he helped found Computer Professionals for Social Responsibility, for which he was national president. Since the early 1990s, he has researched collaborative computing, groupware, and human-computer interaction, HCI. He is a professor of computer science at Stanford University.- Category ID : 55598
